Shri. Shaikh Chand Aminbhai
Karmaveer Late Kakasaheb Wagh contributed to the field of education in the rural area so that the boys and girls could avail of educational facilities and would become educated and be the responsible citizens of India. He had a lion’s share in the establishment of Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj and he worked ceaselessly to keep the lamp of knowledge enkindled almost in all directions. He was of a view that the rural students should get technical knowledge and skills to satisfy the very needs of our country. Hence, he had a constructive talk with his colleagues like Tatyasaheb Boraste about the same and made up their mind to start the Education Society and they laid down the foundation stone of the Society namely K. K. Wagh Education Society in 1970. Since then the Society has won the statewide and national repute. It has maintained its own standard as students rush for admissions from the different States of India. It is a sufficient proof for the same. The K. K. Wagh Education Society runs schools and colleges. The students who have completed their education through these units have proved themselves later on to be highly successful in all walks of life. Such students hold high posts and ranks in multi-national and international companies and industries. Every unit of the society has its own identification
The highlights of the unit are the Technical Workshop, Computer Laboratory, Modern Infrastructure, Drawing Hall, NCC, MCC, Scout, Guide, Rover, Ranger, Harit Sena and a branch of Environment. Many other departments are in functioning.
